Dolya Gavanski


Dolya was born in Bulgaria and grew up in Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union during the disintegration of the communist regimes. As a youngster she attended school in Belgrade, Samarkand and St. Petersburg; she trained in acting in Moscow and London before going on to study at Cambridge University. She went on to gain a PhD on Russian Theatre and Culture at Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Dolya is an accomplished actress and writer and has worked with many respected directors including Michael Winterbottom, Angelina Jolie and Trevor Nunn. As a writer, her two-part radio play The Russian Gambler aired on BBC Radio 4 to great critical acclaim. Dolya is currently developing the play, a modern day adaptation of Dostoevsky’s The Gambler, into a television serial. She is also planning a documentary to be filmed mainly in Syria entitled Why have you forsaken me?

Fedor Levchenko


Fedor was born in Cherkassky region in Ukraine and graduated from the FILM, TV and Theatre University of Kiev. He has directed several commercials and short films, such as I Remember Everything and a documentary Women of Maidan. Fedor also acts in various plays in Ukraine and is currently developing his own film Beautiful Soul.

Alexander ‘Sacha’ Puttnam


Educated in conducting, composition and piano from an early age at London's Royal College of Music, Puttnam completed his musical training at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, followed by a further four years at the Moscow Conservatory. A student and orchestrator to Gennady Rozhdestvensky and the late great Michael Kamen, Puttnam is a well established film composer with over fifty films, documentaries and radio dramas to his name. Sacha Puttnam is represented by Chester & Novello/Eaton Music.

Sanjin Perisic


Sanjin was born in Sarajevo, but due to the war he moved to Belgrade in 1992. He has worked on numerous documentaries on varied subjects, some of which have won prices at various international festivals. During the war in former Yugoslavia he worked as a cameraman and editor with Reuters, CBS, MS NBC and SKY News with the journalist Tim Marshall with whom he has done three documentaries for SKY News channel. Since 2001, he worked as a coach to media professionals (cameramen, editors and journalists) with IREX in Southeastern Europe and Central Asia. As of 2006 he is the chief editor at the national TV channel PRVA TV, former Fox TV Serbia.
